Heavy Duty. Well Made Clamps Made in Germany.
These are fabulous well made clamps. They are strong and very easy to use and adjust and don’t slip. I want to have this type of clamp in many lengths. I prefer them to all other types for general woodworking, even if they need cauls. They are made in Germany and I prefer German woodworking tools.I bought these to be the two main clampsto clamp boards and things to my workbench while I work on them. I have startedto like these 2K handles from German manufacturers. I have mostly wooden handles on my tools. But I really like the 2K handles. I think they are a great buy in this size. I also like they have a small lug on the top that lets them stand upside down on a flat surface and not tip.Great clamp.

Very strong clamps
Fantastic and sturdy clamps! Would definitely recommend. One downside is that one of the ones I got was missing the rubber protector bit on the top jaw. Is there any way to get a replacement for this bit?

I’m… in love
I used 3 of them in a very tight area, a particle board shelf that I’m gluing because the material was “swollen”. The upper part is big enough to compress the shelf back into shape… hopefully. I used a paper towel and glue 🤤, because I hada small gap from the material that I removed but the veneer is in really good shape. They look good, feels good, and the generous upper area, helps with the job! I’m so happy with my purchase! The price was also great!

Good clamp
This is a good clamp anyone you need a clamp to reach far there is just no substitute. I really wish Irwin had not bought Record because they were version of this was an even higher quality and its handle swiveled out so it could be out of the way, but still gave great leverage instead of the design that I purchased here which rely solely on grip, and while I fold pizza boxes, four times, and many other things for grip strength I have just had so many occasions where that old record clamp was precisely the tool for the job.

As advertised
Bought these because of a hard to beat Black Friday sale. After I ordered them, I started reading reviews and got a little worried seeing some of the one star ratings. But they just arrived and after inspection, they’re what I expected and all the parts are intact and nothing missing. Handles are wooden, but have enough paint that I could see somebody thinking they might be plastic. The pads/tips are plastic and seem a little flimsy, but I’ll just start looking for replacements before I need them. All in all I’m happy, especially for the price.

When you need jaw reach and clamping power -just buy it!
I needed to fasten some exterior trim to the middle of a large cabinet. I used headless pin nails to position the trim, but I used two of these to clamp the 3/4" x 2.5" Oak trim in place from each end of the trim piece. These clamps worked flawlessly and gave me the proper gluing pressure over the length of the trim piece that I needed.Simple to set and simple to remove from the workpiece. The handle is really nice compared to my older Bessy clamps.Pros-Its a Bessey - Made in Germany7.5" jawclutchless designHeavy main clamping bargreat clamping pads - removable for replacement. The pads can be "secured" with some double side tape if you REALLY need to otherwise, they work great and have yet to fall off for me.Bessey is the only clamp maker that makes large jaw clampsThings some might consider Cons: ( I don't)Cost - well you can complain about the cost all you want - but you CAN NOT complain about the quality of this clamp - Quality vs Price - pick your poison (I choose quality) This clamp is a specialty clamp - when you need it you really need it and cost is no longer an issue to get the job done right.Heavy - Sure it is heavier than a 3.5" jaw clamp for obvious reasons.I will be ordering more as I have another unique cabinet project coming up. Bessey also makes these in the 16" size , so I will pick up a few of them as well.
