If you receive sticks that aren't rancid, then these sticks are great. However, considering I paid premium for these sticks because they have few ingredients and are supposedly high quality as a result, and because we had a good experience with the mixed selection that we ordered in the past, we've been very disappointed since. Almost HALF the sticks in our pack were bad! Not expired; not by months. Yet they tasted about a year expired. We are active in sports and the outdoors and purchased these as a healthy protein snack. Sadly, more than a few times now we threw these in our packs but couldn't eat them because they tasted like a combination of moldy bread, wilted vegetables, and spoiled cardboard. We enthusiastically ordered this after the mixed option. After this box, not sure we will reorder.

I tried these first in a local store here in NC. LOVE the flavor! The store doesn't always have them in stock, so I turned to Amazon for my fix. Not disappointed. I buy a pack of these and it lasts me about a month (I usually eat one a day for breakfast). It's slightly sweet and smoky. Not spicy. Fills me up.

I love these. A decent high-protein snack. I wish they were a bit healthier (3g of sat fat, but that's what I get for eating meat, and a lot of sodium), but they are perfect to take with you instead of something with more sugar and less protein, such as a granola bar. This particular flavor (BBQ pork & pineapple) is awesome.

Bought the Jalapeno flavor, not sure if it was a defective lot (bought 1x before without issue) had 2 last night and it was so spicy my mouth was still tingling in the morning. Didn't connect it to the stick until I had 2 more for breakfast and my tongue felt burnt. This evening after taking a look my tongue seems to have a chemical burn. May have added too much citric acid? Different scovel score on the jalapenos? They were also more slimy then usual. 10hrs later my lips have stopped tingling but throat and tongue are still burnt. Buyer beware.

It don't look like bacon, it don't smell like bacon and it sure ass hell don't taste like bacon. It tastes more like monkey ass.

Most commercial meat sticks I have tried really are almost unpleasent. By chance tried this product and was hooked at first bite. The jalepeno flavor got my attention right away and I was shocked that unlike many other brands, it was not greasy. Nice snap to the casing too. I will try again for sure

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It has a very tasty jalapeño flavor that isn’t too spicy but tastes just right. They work great with my diet and much healthier to eat than Slim Jim’s. Made in Missouri by a family owned business. These by far are the best tasting meat sticks I have ever had and my wife loves them too which is the most important thing!

I have tried all kinds of similar products but the Western's Smokehouse Meat Sticks are among the best ones out there. This particular product - barbeque & pineapple Pork Meat Snack Sticks, has a great taste, easy to bite off and chew, unlike a few that require firm teeth and a twisting motion.
