Amazing shoe when properly fit.
Pharmacist, standing 10-12 hrs a day, very little walking. Several decades of this abuse have left me opinionated on shoes. Love the Sanita clogs. Great support, comfortable, professional appearance. Also like D*nsko's (I wear both), but Sanita's look/feel identical, for half the price. Sanita is the better value. Sizing...Read thru the comments on size/fit, you *must* order LARGER than a normal shoe. Clogs are supposed to be a little loose, by design. And Sanita's tend to run smaller & narrower than D*nsko's. Order slightly larger. FWIW -Brannock device says I'm between 9 - 9.5 mens (US), & wide. Sanita chart says 42-43. No way, too tight. Barely get them on. 45's are perfect with a thin sock. This translates to 11-11.5 (US). If you like thicker socks, add yet another size to the shoe. Hope this helps someone. Properly fit, they are amazing.

Very nice clogs
I bought these for my boyfriend who is a working chef, so he is on his feet for about 10 hours+. The arch isn't ''way too high'' as some people mentioned. It's lower than a female's arch and my boyfriend's arch matches it very well. It's form fit for your feet, curving in places where your feet naturally curve. I can see why these shoes can be ''uncomfortable'' for some if you have super flat feet+ no arch what so ever! I measured out the inside of the shoe, going from the highest point to the heel and it's 10.2 inches in length. That roughly translate to a size 8 in Nikes, Reebok, etc. I bought a size EURO 41 for my boyfriend and they're a tad bit too wide for his feet, but he has narrow feet so that explains why. . . however, thick socks fixed that problem right away. I weighed each shoe: 1 lb 1.5 oz, this might be very heavy to some compared to classic sneakers (Reebok, size 8 Mens) which weighed 8.8 oz, however the comfort ''outweighs'' that issue! See my pun there? Will update when boyfriend reports back to me about how they held up in a week's time at work. .

Pretty good
It's a nice looking shoe. Quality is good. Comfortable for daily use. My regular shoes are all size 8.5. The is my first pair of Sanitas. Bought them in EUR 42 (US 9) size to replace a pair of Dansko size 43, which were a bit loose for normal wear. My main use for clogs is for air travel - easy off/on at security checks. More importantly, they are comfortable even after my feet swell on long flights. The Sanitas are quite narrow with a snug fit. The length is just right. I can slide my little finger in behind my heel when I'm wearing the shoe. They are tight along the sides and top of the feet till you walk a few steps at which point they feel more comfortable. I have not flown in these shoes as yet. I expect them to be uncomfortable by the end of a long flight (being smaller than the Danskos I had). I'll just have to wear thin socks. A size 42.5 would have been perfect. Alas, I don't they make them in that size. I'm keeping them and will see how they work out.

Overrated
I've heard rave reviews about how great clogs are on ailing feet. Even my wife, a nurse, swears by them. I am a chef at a high volume, fine dining restaurant, and I constantly move fast on my feet for 50+ hours each week. I have had problems finding shoes to properly fit and comfort my feet, and usually have to go through 3 different inserts per new pair of shoes until I find the right combination to be barely adequate for my aching feet. I still find it necessary to have to take 800-1200 mg of ibuprofen just to get through the night.I decided to invest in more pricey options, even though shoes in my line of work rarely last more than 9 months without sprouting holes, busting seams, or losing foot support. By my line of work, I don't simply mean the kitchen, but rather fastly walking or running 2.5 to 5 miles, 5 days a week, back and forth (I have used a step counter to estimate my distance traveled through the kitchen). I decided to take a chance on the Sanita Professional Oil Clogs, even though I did not have the opportunity to try them on due to lack of availability at local retailers.BIG MISTAKE!They are more painful on my feet than any other work shoe I have ever tried on. The arch support is wonderful, but unfortunately there is not enough room in the upper to make room for feet curved with arches like mine are. My wife is flat footed, so hers fit more comfortably, but what is the point of great arch support if arched feet don't fit in them? There is ZERO shock absorption. With every step, it feels like my forefoot is slapping the floor.Since my feet are arched, the "tongue" area of the upper cuts into the top of my foot. After wearing them for 2-3 hours the bottom of my arches may be fine, but the tops of my feet kill and the metatarsal/front ball area of my forefoot is going numb. Not to mention, the heels are so high that they add more pressure onto the front of my feet.I understand the break-in period. As uncomfortable as they were, I made sure to wear them around the house and out to a few places for 2 weeks before I even brought them to work. Over the last 2 weeks at work (4 week total break-in period) I wore them for prepping, then switched back into my old shoes for the dinner rush once they started hurting those areas of my feet.Since they are too far used to attempt a return, I am now facing a two-shoe system, just so I don't completely waste the hundred and some dollars I spent on these. My only hope is that maybe they require 2 or more months to break in.**2/5/13 - 3 MONTH REVIEW IN COMMENT SECTION****9/12/13 - DISAPPOINTING 9 MONTH REVIEW IN COMMENT SECTION**

Kinda heavy but wicked comfortable
I have large, flat feet. The arches in this shoe are good enough that i don't have to put in an insert. Easy to slip on and off. Holds my foot securely. I love them. They look good too. They are heavy due to their solid construction, but they don't look bulky.

Like Walking On Air
These Sanita oil leather clogs are superb. When wearing them, you walk with enhanced vigor, and your feet and legs don't experience the tiredness and aches that come with wearing other types of foot gear for a lengthy time. Their arch support is great. Anybody who has to stand on their feet for long hours would benefit greatly from wearing these Sanita clogs. And they are very durable.

Left shoe smaller than right
I have purchased Sanitas for over 20 years. This pair the left shoe fit smaller than the right but I threw the packaging out anticipating they’d fit like always so I can’t send them back. I used to buy Danskos til they started making them in China and their fit changed as well in the instep. I guess I’ll have to go to store to try them on from now on.

Very comfortable straight away
I have bought clogs before, all cheaper and with wooden soles which although I liked the idea, never quite felt right. I decided to go for a more expensive (and with full foot surround) and immediately I knew this is what I was looking for. They have leather uppers and a sole that flexes unlike wood. Very comfortable and something you could wear all day. Seller - World of Clogs delivered quickly and these were available at a great price.
