La Rochere has been making traditional French glassware since 1475 and is one of the oldest continuously running glass factory in Europe, producing beautiful and sturdy heavy glass products in the historic traditional method. Each piece of La Rochere is made of a very durable and clear glass completely free of lead. A pressure seam is sometimes visible, which is the mark left by opening the mold in which the glass is pressed. It is the characteristic of pressed machine glass and symbolizes its heritage and makes each item a true piece of French glass history. La Rochere’s products are lead and cadmium free. Our glassware is dishwasher and microwave safe. Please avoid thermal shocks (extreme heat or cold) and do not microwave for long periods of time.

Very nice quality, good weight and easy to hold.
I like everything about it. I now have them in 3 different sizes. Unfortunately, I knocked one over and it broke when it hit the floor. I do wish you could buy replacement pieces without buying the whole set. I did find it in another size that I could buy just two of, so that’s what I did. Very nice glassware.
