Perfect fit of hard to find part
This repair part was unavailable from the manufacturer or from other parts houses. It is a generic spring, but almost impossible to find. Amazon has it and it is a perfect fit for my ten year old Ryobi drill press and other makes of the same vintage.

Fits Delta 10" mod 11-980 drill press
One mm less in width but works well on my Delta 10" model 11-980. Plus two spares. Get it situated in the spring holder before cutting the wrapping wire.

Slightly smaller than original but all good
The coils are a little bit smaller than the original for a Delta8 press drill but they fit and serve their function very well. All good.

What size of drill press this is made for
The price was reasonable. The product was as advertised. The time it took to get it was slower then I wanted not sure why. Other then that I am satisfied.
