I was skeptical at first, but once it was up it is beautiful. I love that the canvas top can be so easily adjusted at the flick of the wrist. It was a booger to assemble, took 3 of us to hold the frame for proper assembly, but once together I could not be happier

I was skeptical after reading reviews on here about assembly but my wife and I built it in a couple hours. Instructions are not great but easy enough to figure out. I don't like that the end caps on the top rails are black plastic and just push in (and easily come out). Compared to the ones at Home Depot or Lowes where the ends are part of the rail, this was disappointing. Also note that all pieces come in as a max 5' other than the 4 legs, which means all the support rails and the top rails are in 2 pieces and have to be bolted together in the center. Its up out of sight so only I am likely to notice but does make me question stability as water pools on the canvas quickly. It went thought two good winds without issue, but for good measure I have now anchored it down.

This was a HORRIBLE investment and definitely not worth the money we paid for it. It holds water and sags and leaks through the material. As soon as the wind blows the bars blow off. The first wind we got after we assembled it the bars broke. I would never purchase another and now this Item is selling for more than what we bought it for less than a year ago. Save yourself the money and do NOT purchase. I honestly wouldn’t even give it one star but you have to at least give it one star in order to complete the review.

We just spent one full day assembling the pergola. (7 and 1/2 hours and we both have construction experience) The instructions are pictures only and not really clear on some details so some guess work is involved unless you work for Ikea and have plenty of experience with that.This comes shipped in 2 separate boxes and one of them is just pretty darned heavy so you'll want help to move it around. We DID receive all the parts but some were bent and/or dented. There was nothing bad enough to warrant a replacement part but some pieces look a little rough. Only one rod could be straightened without further damage to it and one upright looks like someone whacked it with a hammer.One package of screws was not labelled correctly which caused a bit of confusion with the diagram as to what we should be using as there are 2 packages of similar size. There were no extra screws provided in any package forcing us to purchase a package form a local shop to replace a single screw that stripped out due to a burr in the pre drilled hole of one of the uprights.We also had to sand the powdercoating off both pieces of one of the rods in order to be able to fit them together. All the rest of them went together with some elbow grease. The brackets holding the rods for sliding the canopy are pretty flimsy and so far have slipped out each time we moved the cover. I'm sure we will adjust those brackets with some lock-tite this weekend. LOLI'm a little disappointed to read this isn't a waterproof cover as it does specifically state it is in the description. We'll see how the fabric holds up in southern Florida.It's been up for two days now and I'm looking forward to Christmas breakfast on the new deck and the new pergola. I'll update this if there's anything noteworthy to add in a couple of months.

Once actually put together this canopy is super nice and convenient for shade. If you take your time and follow the directions carefully then it’s easy to put together, there are just a lot of parts but easy to install. And this is really sturdy so it’s doesn’t get blown away. This is definitely worth its price. I love the pergola canopy!

Poor quality not practical when rain it leaks not waterproof as advertised the frame joints don’t line up I spent 150 to assemble this can’t return it now bought extra waterproof tarp but little better won’t recommend

Item came in two boxes in two different shipment. Amazon only out on tracking number so I thought I missed the other box. But it arrives the next day. The canopy will pool water under heavy rain but it is water proof. For the money, it’s pretty good. I like it better than the one I go from Lowe’s because the canopy control is much better

I used this as a shade for my patio. It worked great. I read the reviews and for the money I paid for it, I'm very happy. I've had it for about 8 months. I'm hampered but I'm very good with my hands. The instruction video and instructions could have been better. I put mine together by myself. I wanted to put it together the way I saw it but I figured there was a method to the way they did it. My idea was better considering I did it alone. I need to replace my canopy. I don't know if it was a squirrel. I recommended it to both my brother and one of my nieces. I really like it because it allows me to use my patio here, in Texas. The sun will render an outside space unusable and now I can use my patio more than any other time over the 20 years I've lived here. It's an odd size but it fits perfectly. Thank you.
