I purchased a number of these at once for a front porch overhaul project. All in all, I would say these are perfectly fine. They do come with the foam for marking everything watertight and I haven't (knock on wood) had any issues with water getting to the outlet through 2 years of storms in the midwest. The reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is due to, all but 1, have the lids stick open after removing a plug that's been in for a few days. They spring back to the closed position easily, but I could see someone either forgetting to do that or not noticing that it didn't spring back closed and having an issue. Like I said, not in anyway a deal breaker, but I've used a lot of different brands and had a range of both good and bad experiences. This is not bad, but worth a mention for those DIY folks looking to purchase.

Product works well, once mounted it creates a nice weather seal on an outside outlet. I've installed 3 of these and the same process holds true......the mounting screw they provide is simply useless, too short to connect and I've been forced to search through all my excess screws to find one that fits and is long enough to create a quality attachment. Who ever designed this mounting system took a nap on the screw dimensions.

The screw is a bit tricky to install as you have to thread the screw between the spring loaded doors. I wish the door to each socket would lock into an open position.
