Simple, efficient, attractive, and easy to use.
This was bought to upgrade a Presonus AudioBox USB that I got in 2013, which still works perfectly as intended, but is no longer sufficient for my needs. This unit covered every upgrade I needed for that system. There were not many of these available but I knew it was what I wanted. If you can't find one in stock at a fair price, any Presonus unit in the same range should be equally sufficient, but cost may vary greatly. Recording and playback are equally impressive. It is used for guitar, bass, and vocals, and does so quite well. It has been used now for several months and works as perfectly as it did on day one. It's a good size. Not too big or small and it easily fits into tighter spaces. No external power is needed as it runs off of the USB connection. It is very much a plug-and-play unit, simple and efficient. My only complaint on the whole interface, just like the box I replaced, is that there is no front option for the headphones. I hate that all of my headphone cables are permanently bent from always having to run them to the rear of these units. Even with that complaint, I give it 5 stars for what it is. The only reason to rate it lower would be if I was comparing it to larger, more powerful units.

My Partner Says it's Great
I have no idea what this is but my partner wanted it for birthday gift. He loves it and says it works fantastic. He uses it to play simultaneously while singing in an online app with his bandmate as well as for recording their songs. I hope that helps if you're considering buying this.

This inexpensive audio interface changed the game for me
I was having a couple different issues with my previous interface so I was greatly in need of a replacement. Issues were poor latency (no built-in ASIO drivers for Windows) and no multi client support (also could have been resolved with native ASIO drivers). Ordered this little box from Presonus (I also use Studio One), swapped drivers on my PC, swapped cable routing, assigned the Presonus interface as my primary in and out for Window sound (I also (optionally) disabled ever other audio in and out) then selected the interface in Studio One. *I did also disable a couple unused plugins from with Studio One's settings to get everything working 100%. It's been smooth sailing ever since. I have zero-latency monitoring of my DAW as well as all system sound at the same time and I don't have to run any workaround software or mods. I no longer feel limited by my audio hardware. I had looked at getting one of these years ago. I wish I had. It would have saved me hours of frustration over those years.

Not enough gain for Shure SM7B
This is a nice little unit with lots of features and flexibility, but it doesn’t have enough gain for a Shure SM7B. I ended up having to also buy a Cloudlifter, so whatever I saved buying this interface was effectively erased. As a newcomer to using a mic with my Mac, I wish I understood the gain requirements of the SM7B before buying this interface, which I’m sure is more than adeqate for many other mics.

Finally got my digital piano to sound amazing!
Got this interface for my digital piano setup. Connected my piano via USB to MacBook, then MacBook to Studio 24c via USB-C. From there, output goes to my TubePre v2 preamp and HP4 headphone amp.The Studio 24c handles both audio and MIDI perfectly. Front panel has clear metering and the combo inputs accept both XLR and 1/4" cables. Direct monitoring lets me play without latency, and the build quality is sturdy with metal construction.Using this with Pianoteq 8.4 through my MacBook significantly improved my piano's sound quality compared to direct headphone output. Good value for home piano enthusiasts looking to upgrade their audio chain.

Buyer Beware
Look at either Focusrite Scarlett or Native Instruments Komplete Audio instead.PreSonus support is terrible, their product works great... when it decides to work. When it doesn't, their support staff lead you on a wild goose chase... it was only after all of that where I came back to Amazon and read the reviews of people who weren't happy and saw they all had the exact same issues. So its a known problem and PreSonus for over a year has not resolved it and just turns around and blames the customer for their hardware.I bought the Studio 24c. I connected it via USB-C to my CalDigit TB3 dock... and the audio worked great. But everytime I rebooted my machine, it disconnected and wouldn't work again without me unplugging from the dock and plugging back in. Obviously, the whole reason I HAVE A DOCK is so that i don't have to constantly plug and unplug things from my MacBook Pro.After a first reasonable contact with PreSonus where they asked for a system diagnostics report, they then asked that I test it out by plugging it into my laptop. When I tried that, instead of getting audio, I got loud screachy static from the unit. Apparently, it requires more power on the bus than laptops put out. Their answer was then, I should go buy a powered USB-hub (sorry, my CalDigit dock already acts as one, not doing it), and that I should just plug and unplug when needed.Their responses were always short, 1-liners. Like plug it into your computer. It never even felt like their support staff were reading the previous part of the ticket to see where it started. This brings 3 issues to my attention.1) The plugging/unplugging has been an issue for some users for over a year - they never acknowledged it and made me go through all this back and forth2) They haven't bothered to fix it after a year of complaints, whether its hardware or firmware I don't know3) It apparently uses too much power to be bus powered from a notebook, yet its not mentioned anywhere, and they don't provide a way to power it... outside of buying 3rd party powered hubs.I boxed it up immediately and returned it, I'm not playing this game. I want my desk setup neatly, with cables tied, out of the way and where I don't need to yank them out on a daily basis. I also run a 100+ TB raid enclosure off my CalDigit dock and don't want to accidentally unplug something and corrupt data every day when i need to fight with an audio interface that I shouldn't have to fight with in the first place.
